Absecon Lighthouse is New Jersey's tallest lighthouse located at Pacific and Rhode Island Avenues in Atlantic City. September hours are Thursdays through Mondays 11am to 4pm. The lighthouse is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The last tower climb of the day is always a 1/2 hour before closing.
The AC Tattoo Art Revival returns to Anchor Rock Club on September 21 for its second year showcasing real deal artwork made by real deal tattooers. This pop-up gallery features original pieces from over 50 tattoo artists, as well as unique vendors including a Tin-type photography booth; paired with live painting demos & a 4 hour DJ set. The African American Heritage Museum of Southern New Jersey (AAHMSNJ) will host a new exhibit entitled "Miss Black America" in Atlantic City, the place the pageant was first held in 1968. The exhibit will feature repurposed artwork by late Philadelphia artist Robert R. Jackson.
