The Museum presents two exhibitions through February 28th with recent paintings of Quinton Greene and an exhibition of Quilts by members of the Sewing Club from Rockland County, New York.
Quinton Greene, a frequent exhibitor at the Museum, returns with a selection of new works for African American History Month. Mr. Greene’s colorful paintings have been shown widely throughout the region. The prolific, self-taught artist reflects aspects of African American culture in his work. His paintings will be on display leading up to and during Black History Month.
In African American culture, quilts can carry great meaning.
