Entertainment

With more than 1,000 DJ sets, 84 headliner concerts, two beach dance events, numerous beach bars for day life and nightlife, Atlantic City declares itself the Entertainment Capital of the Jersey Shore.

From headliners like Madonna in an arena setting at Boardwalk Hall, to an intimate set list with Bob Dylan in the Music Box at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, to a cover band on the beach at Landshark Bar & Grill at Resorts Casino Hotel – Atlantic City has more headliners, a larger variety of entertainment options, the most hotels rooms, gaming and 24/7 summer parties in comparison to any shore destination from New York to Maryland.

And with price points to meet any budget you can see an up and-coming comedian for around $20 or splurge on big names like Jerry Seinfeld, Wanda Sykes or D. L. Hughley.

Boardwalk Hall Pipe Organ Tour and Recital
Boardwalk Hall houses the largest musical instrument on earth.  More powerful than a dozen orchestras, it can both whisper and thunder into the 5.5 million cubic feet of air space in the main arena,  A second instrument by W. W. Kimball is also part of the Adrian Phillips Ballroom. Both of these incredible machines were included as part of the original stage equipment for the building.

A Curator's Tour of the pipe organ is offered Wednesdays from 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM.  This in-depth 2 1/2 hour tour leads guests through several sections of the organ which are normally closed to the public and gives an extremely detailed look at the mechanism of the instrument, its history and the current restoration project.  This tour does involve an extensive amount of walking and stair climbing.  An alternate tour path is available for persons with limited mobility. The tour is followed by a half hour recital from 12:30 PM - 1:00 PM. Starting May 28 recitals will occur weekdays through September 30 from 12:30 PM - 1:00 PM.

All concerts and tours are free and open to the public with no reservations necessary.  However, the Curator's Tour has a suggested donation of $10.  All proceeds go toward the restoration of the pipe organs and are gladly accepted at each of the concerts.  Please check their Facebook page for cancellation notices before traveling.
