Spectra by Comcast Spectacor’s Erin Bilton, the Director of Marketing for Boardwalk Hall and the Atlantic City Convention Center, is one of several nominees in Venues Today Magazine’s 2017 Generation Next Award for achievement and outstanding service as a young industry leader. This award honors professionals under the age of 35 who make a difference in sports, music, conventions, family shows, and festivals.
Bilton, an 11-year Spectra employee, is responsible for overseeing all marketing initiatives at both the Atlantic City Convention Center and Boardwalk Hall, including advertising and public relations. She works cooperatively with the corporate partnership and operations teams to drive ticket sales and sponsorship revenue, all while building relationships throughout the local community and industry. In addition, she heads the marketing task force made up of entertainment venues, attractions, hotels, and restaurants to collaboratively promote Atlantic City in a positive light. Amongst her achievements are helping raise $20,000 for local nonprofits through the venue’s annual ‘Deck the Hall-Festival of Trees’ event.

Bilton also serves as a Division Marketing Director, overseeing efforts of more than 30 Spectra Venue Management and Food Service & Hospitality properties in the Northeast region of the United States. Bilton’s focus is on creating innovative campaigns that drive food and beverage sales in these markets; enhancing the customer experience through contests and promotions and developing her staff to further their career in the sports and entertainment industry. To date, Bilton has successfully mentored 10 individuals into their current positions at Spectra.
