The Atlantic City Boardwalk will be alive seven nights a week this summer with free LIVE music, courtesy of the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA).
Free entertainment takes place nightly from June 19 through September 5 at Kennedy Plaza across from Boardwalk Hall. Atlantic City residents and visitors will enjoy performances from genres including Broadway, Rock & Roll, Rhythm & Blues and everything in between.
Broadway on the Boardwalk is back by popular demand on eight consecutive Monday nights July 8 through August 26. Hosted by comedian Dena Blizzard, the casts of Broadway's hottest musicals take the stage with free performances from some of the most popular and critically acclaimed musicals on Broadway today.
Tribute Tuesdays are a new feature this summer on ten consecutive Tuesday nights July 2 through September 3. Visitors are in for a treat with tribute bands that deliver the same great music, stage performances and excitement as the original favorite national touring bands. The quality of these bands is undeniable and a great lineup is scheduled this summer.
Mardi Gras AC, a favorite summer staple presented by Tony Mart, will take place at Kennedy Plaza every Wednesday night, from June 19 through September 4. These musical celebrations feature World Class Funk, New Orleans Rhythm and Blues, Classic Rock, Roots Rock, Grammy Award winners and the best Jersey Shore Rock and Roll concerts.
Chicken Bone Beach Jazz Concert Series returns to Kennedy Plaza for ten consecutive Thursday nights, July 4 through September 5. After four years away from this locale, these Thursday night shows present world-class concerts that appeal to residents and visitors who are attracted to heritage and cultural entertainment.
Boardwalk Summer Concert Series, presented by 609 Event Productions, takes place Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays this summer. The boardwalk will be alive with three-day music, food and fun events beginning Friday, July 5 through Sunday, September 1. A wide variety of entertainment will appeal to music lovers of all genres. In addition, refreshments will be available for purchase and will reflect themed weekends including Reggae, Country, Rat Pack, Retro, Latin, Rock and Roll and International flair.
