Historically Great: Stockton Seaview Golf Club

When you golf at Stockton Seaview Golf Club, you golf with history. The Bay Course was built in 1915 followed by the construction of the Pines Course in 1929. To give you a little perspective, these golf courses have been through both world wars. Worry not, though, because the two courses have gone through a fair share of upkeep and redesign over the years to maintain its pristine reputation among other Atlantic City golf courses.

In fact, not only is Seaview probably the best Atlantic City country club, you also have one of the best views of AC’s skyline  while you play on their Bay Course – the oldest and most approachable courses of the two. Open all year long, the Bay Course has hosted hundreds of thousands of golf enthusiasts over the years including U.S. presidents and golf legends like Ben Hogan. The Bay Course has also been the site of several national golf tournaments. So, when you’re teeing off, know that you’re in good company.

The Pines Course, on the other hand, is longer and more challenging than the Bay. It’s hosted many professional golf tournaments such as the LPGA ShopRite Classic and continues to win awards for its quality. When you play the Pines, you’re guaranteed to use all of your clubs.

Make a day of it at this great Atlantic City country club, starting with breakfast  in the luxurious and welcoming clubhouse. Then, stop by Seaview’s golf shop to pick up some gear or view the original design plans for the course hanging on the wall.  Not to mention, Seaview’s golf shop is an eight-time winner of GolfWorld magazine’s “100 Best Golf Shops in America.”
