Atlantic City Fashionista at Large

When not working or going to school, Atlantic City fashion guru “G Bunny” likes to try her hand at – not gambling – but shopping! “It’s always a thrill to be able to get the best buys on the hottest new fashion trends,” G Bunny proudly announced. With all the shopping options in Atlantic City, it’s always a challenge to one whose goal is to run down bargains on top name clothing and accessories. “I always start with Barefeet Shoes and H & M at Tanger Outlets – The Walk,” she shared. “They have the best go-to prices and that’s where I begin every shopping trip.”
We recently tasked G Bunny with the ultimate challenge -- to find an outfit with accessories that can go from daywear at the beach and Boardwalk, and then morph into the nightlife scene at beach bars or the casino clubs, all for under $100 bucks!

So how did G Bunny do this time around? Part of that task was easy, with tax free clothing and shoes in Atlantic City. “I was able to get everything I’d need for a day/night in Atlantic City and club hopping as well,” she said. “I did my homework and visited the Tanger Outlet web site for coupons and specials and joined the Tanger Club to get mobile and digital offers. When possible, I always use coupons and discount deals to make my dollars really stretch,” she admits.

Any other tips from our fashionista? “I always make sure to have a jacket on hand no matter what the time of year, since that ocean breeze can pick up without a moment’s notice,” she offered. Layering also works, and G Bunny made sure she purchased items that were easy to pull on or peel off, whatever the situation warranted.

“I even had a bit of cash left over and was able to head over to the Pier Shops at Caesars for a little something special from Victoria’s Secret! I can still probably even pick up a little flowery sundress or cover-up from one of the Boardwalk shops to fill in my wardrobe from some of the money I had left over. I’ve learned you can never have too many of those, and they come at great prices!”
