Atlantic City Historical Museum


The Atlantic City Historical Museum on Garden Pier (at New Jersey Ave) has re-opened and has been beautifully renovated. Now operated by the AC Free Public Library and features new exhibits.

The Atlantic City Historical Museum, operated by the Atlantic City Free Public Library, showcases the culturally diverse, exciting history of Atlantic City in a nostalgic timeline. Visitors can enjoy exhibits of Mr. Peanut, sand sculptures, Miss America and casinos - along with vintage photographs and local artifacts. The museum will unveil its new history of Garden Pier exhibit, which highlights the businesses, entertainment and evolution of the Pier since its July 19, 1913 opening. Also, new exhibits detailing the Summer of 1964 and Atlantic City's sports history are on display.

Open every day from 10:00am - 5:00pm. Free admission.
