Enjoy two world-class fireworks displays over Atlantic City this Independence Day weekend with the largest displays in the state and along the East Coast, both produced by Fireworks by Grucci of New York.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

July 2nd at 9:30 pm - A Flotilla of Fireworks over the Ocean!

This year’s Independence Day weekend celebration begins on Friday, July 2 at 9:30 p.m. Launched from a barge located off the Pier Shops at Caesars, a 25-minute breathtaking pyrotechnic display produced by Fireworks by Grucci will light up the sky over the Atlantic Ocean. Open to the public with great views along the Boardwalk. *Rain date Saturday, July 3rd.

Weather and wind conditions may affect the timing of the fireworks show. The fireworks are choreographed to music, and simulcast broadcasted on 102.7FM and promoted on WMGM 103.7, WOND 1400AM, KOOL 98.3 and LaFiesta 1490AM.

July 4th at 9:00 pm - Fireworks Presented by Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa and Harrah's Resort

On Sunday, July 4, a spectacular fireworks demonstration produced by Fireworks by Grucci will illuminate the skies above Atlantic City’s Marina District. Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa and Harrah’s Resort have joined forces for the third consecutive year to sponsor a freedom celebration fireworks display, making this the largest fireworks show on the entire East Coast.

The show promises to be an elaborate display that will be a highlight of the holiday weekend. The show is open to the public with viewing areas at both properties. Harrah’s Resort viewing area will open at 1:00 pm with live music, food and beverages; with Borgata viewing area opening at 6:00 pm and broadcast live over 95.1 WAYV-FM.

FIREWORKS OVER ATLANTIC CITY
July 4th Weekend


Here are tips you need to know to enjoy the best Independence Day weekend fireworks:
 
Transportation: 
  • Atlantic City is easily accessible via Route 30, Route 40/322, or Exit 1 off the Atlantic City Expressway.
  • The NJ Transit rail system can be accessed from nearby Hammonton, Egg Harbor City and Absecon, with trains arriving at the Atlantic City Convention Center. Due to expected high ridership, attendees are advised to allow extra travel time, purchase tickets in advance to avoid long lines, and travel light.
  • NJ Transit bus schedules can be viewed at www.njtransit.com for details. Bus schedules will vary by route over the holiday weekend. For additional information, please call NJ TRANSIT Customer Service at 973-275-5555.

  • From the back bay or ocean:
    • Cruisin' One: Fireworks cruises on Friday night July 2nd and Sunday night July 4th. Each cruise will depart at 8 pm from Historic Gardner's Basin and return at approximately 10 pm. $30 per person, tickets available online at www.atlanticcitycruises.com

Top Tips to Enjoy the Fireworks:
  • Arrive early!
  • Allow plenty of time to get to your destination
  • Use public transit to avoid the parking crush (see trains and bus information)
  • If arriving by car, see parking information listed below
  • Make sure you build in enough time to visit AC’s attractions, shopping, and to enjoy our great restaurants
  • Bring a radio and listen to the fireworks synchronized to music without delay over the radio stations broadcasting during each display
  • Bring beach chairs and/or blankets or simply stand anywhere along the Boardwalk or plan to visit the viewing areas available for the Harrah’s/Borgata display
  • Be aware that weather and wind conditions may affect the timing of the fireworks show
  • If you are already In AC, why not leave the car where it’s parked and use cabs, jitneys and rolling chairs to get to your preferred fireworks locations
  • Plan to stick around after the fireworks are over and enjoy more of Atlantic City while other traffic clears out.
