Underwater Wonderland: The Atlantic City Aquarium

Nothing captures the imagination quite like exploring the wonderful world of underwater creatures–and beyond. The Atlantic City Aquarium has exhibits on all types of marine life, from fish to sharks to invertebrates, as well as a variety of reptile, amphibian, mammal and bird displays. We have one of the most diverse animal populations of any aquarium in New Jersey.

But there’s much more to do than just observe–aquarium visitors can watch divers hand-feed rays, turtles and other creatures in the tank, with a Q&A session afterwards. The aquarium also hosts a regular “Exotic Animal Show” where visitors can get up-close and personal with a few of the resident critters, including snakes and lizards. Be sure to check out the jam-packed event calendar for more exciting exhibits.

One aquarium visitor had this to say about her experience:
The AC Aquarium is freaking awesome! We got to feed fish, pet a shark, get up close to some really cool creatures, and talk to the diver who feeds the fish. What a great way to learn and have fun doing it!
