Treat the Family to Fun with Magic Shows in Atlantic City

Master magician Joe Holiday became interested in magic at an early age – fascinated by the enthralling stories that his grandfather shared about visiting the old Steel Pier where the majority of the top entertainers put on magic shows in Atlantic City. In 1983 at age 13, the Atlantic City native made his stage debut, and he’s been hooked on performing magic ever since.

Holiday’s family-friendly magic routine is anything but routine, as he combines sleight-of-hand and illusion with humor, audience participation, popular music, current events and his own engaging personality. Holiday’s magical prowess has taken him around the world to entertain and awe.

This sought-after entertainer has been repeatedly booked on major cruise ships, in amusement theme parks and area casino hotels, and for corporate company events. Did we mention that Joe recently became an international television guest star and has proudly performed for our troops stationed in the Far East? He enjoyed his travels but is pleased to be home performing magic and comedy shows in Atlantic City and spending more time with his wife and two young daughters.

In a tribute to his muse, Holiday actually performs one of the magic tricks his grandfather described to him. Holiday also created Reading Rocks Magic Show, a kid-tested, teacher-approved literacy program geared toward elementary school students.

But if you’re serious about comedy, and want to see one of the most amazing magic and comedy shows in Atlantic City with the entire family, you can catch him at the Tropicana Comedy Stop Café & Cabaret every evening except Wednesday.

Holiday’s Magic & Mayhem, one of the only family-friendly magic shows in Atlantic City, starts at 6:30; tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for children. “Come early for dinner,” encourages Holiday. “They have a full kitchen and serve great meals.” The additional charge for a tasty meal is only $10 per adult, $5 per child.

For an entertaining evening with the family, come to the Comedy Stop Café & Cabaret, in The Quarter at the Tropicana Casino Hotel.
