They say things get hotter when the sun goes down, and that’s certainly true in AC. Evening brings a steady, year-round line-up of concerts by world-renown artists to town, and stars this bright need a great place to shine. Enter Atlantic City’s collection of show venues – more than mere auditoriums, these entertainment complexes deliver sensory experiences that bring the music, and night, alive.
Pacific and Mississippi Avenues
Also known as the Atlantic City Convention Center, this revered space has been placed on the United State Register of Historic Places and has welcomed legends such as The Beatles and the Rolling Stones. And after an impressive, $90 million renovation that completed in 2001, the space is even more awe-inspiring. Upcoming shows include Queen & Adam Lambert (July 26), KISS (August 2), and Aerosmith (August 31). And while we’re sure these concerts will get plenty loud, Boardwalk Hall holds a high volume secret of it’s own: the space is home to the Midmer-Losh organ, the largest, loudest pipe organ in the world and, per the Guinness Book of World Records, the most powerful musical instrument in the world. Take that, Steven Tyler’s pipes.
House of Blues
801 Boardwalk at Showboat Casino

In-house restaurant Crossroads serves up a stellar menu of tempting American classics created by Food Network star and celebrity chef Aaron Sanchez. Chase the sunrise in the Foundation Room, a super swanky, sexy lounge for high-class libations. And if you can roll out of bed the next morning, head back for the Gospel Brunch, every other Sunday at noon, featuring local talent performing both traditional and contemporary Gospel songs while you tuck into an all-you-can-eat buffet.
