Fun for the Family at Steel Pier Amusement Park
Kids can be unpredictable. But if one thing’s a sure bet, it’s that they’ll love the rides, games and fanfare found on the Steel Pier in Atlantic City.
Located on the Boardwalk at Virginia Avenue, the Steel Pier amusement park
features more than a dozen rides suitable for kids of almost any age (yes, even you). Some rides, such as the Beach Buggies, Grand Carousel and Kiddie Bumper cars are perfect for smaller children, while your teens might be more interested in the more thrilling attractions, including Freedom Flyer, Mix and Monster Plunge. Ride tickets can be purchased individually for $1 each or in bulk “ticket books” at discounted prices. Steel Pier rides require anywhere from 3 - 10 tickets.
For the ultimate ride, the Steel Pier offers helicopter rides up and down the beach for unbeatable views of the shore and skyline. Helicopter rides start at $49.
Your family will find hours of entertainment in the arcade and games of skill that line the pier -- big prizes and big smiles abound. And because all that fun can work up a serious appetite, the Steel Pier offers food and drink options that anyone can enjoy -- from pizza and ice cream for the kids to Philly Cheesesteaks and alcoholic beverages for adults.
The Steel Pier is also great for groups, with an event space, catering service and enough attractions to keep everyone entertained. Groups of 25 or more can purchase “All Day Group Ride” passes for unlimited fun.
The Steel Pier is open Monday - Friday from 1 p.m. to midnight and Saturday - Sunday from noon to midnight during the season running from mid-June through Labor Day. During the shoulder seasons, the pier is open on only on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 11 p.m.
Plan on a stop at the Steel Pier in Atlantic City for a fun family experience you’ll all cherish for ages.
