Joe Holiday’s Magic and Mayhem

Even if the kids aren’t wowed by your disappearing thumb or quarter behind the ear tricks, they’ll believe in magic when they’re entertained by Joe Holidays’ hig-engery show. With music, lights, and audience participation, this show not only defys the laws of logic, but will have all ages laughing out loud. Shows run every day (except Wednesday) at 6:30 pm. Make it dinner and a show for $10 more; $5 more for kids 10 and younger. Kids must be 3 years or older to attend.

When someone has been named “The Top Illusionist in the World,” you know you are in for some magic and mystery. Be prepared to question time and space as you an your family take in his amazing stage show, running through August 31 in AC. Shows run Thursday, Saturday and Sunday evenings at 8 pm.
IMAX at The Tropicana
Tropicana Casino Hotel, 2831 Boardwalk
Bigger is always better, right? Wow the kids with this massive screen featuring some of the season’s most popular films in awe-inspiring size and 3D excitement. Right now, the theater is playing Guardians of the Galaxy and Island of Lemurs: Madagascar; check the schedule to see what’s rolling when you’re in town.
Scaring the kids straight can be downright fun! Take the family into Haunted Tales, a ghostly experience on the boardwalk, and listen to creepy tales about local legends and haunted venues. You can even bring some of the spookiness home with you with a trip to the adjacent haunted gift shop
3D Light & Sound Show
Boardwalk Hall, 2301 Boardwalk
You don’t need to head indoors for one of the brightest shows on the strip. Simply set yourself in front of Boardwalk Hall at 8:3- pm, or any half hour after, and watch as the architecture comes to live in an eight-minute musical light show. Free and stunning, it truly brings AC to life.
