Albany Devils in Atlantic City Hockey Fun for All
The right wing glides along the boards and sends a pass to the center, perfectly poised to score. A slapshot rips across the ice and the puck eludes the goalie, ricochets off the goalpost and flies into the net. The crowd erupts, launching popcorn, soda and hotdog relish everywhere.
Enter an Albany Devils hockey game, two-and-a-half hours of warp-speed action on the ice. The Albany Devils are an American Hockey League (AHL) professional developmental team affiliated with the New Jersey Devils, a National Hockey League (NHL) team.
You don’t have to be a die-hard hockey fan to enjoy watching these athletes perform incredibly graceful feats of skate-shod shooting and passing. And even though New York is the home of the Albany Devils, Boardwalk Hall here in Atlantic City is hosting four of their 2013-2014 season games. The all-purpose event venue undergoes an amazing transformation from concert venue/ boxing arena/basketball court to an ice rink.
Watch the Devils engage in fierce, frozen combat with regional foes the Hershey Bears on January 12 and February 14, then take on the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins March 1 and 23.
If you’d like to see these great matchups featuring the Albany Devils, Boardwalk Hall offers a variety of ticket options. Just want to catch a game while you’re in town?
