returns to Atlantic City on Wednesday, August 25, 2010!

The Atlantic City Airshow "Thunder Over The Boardwalk," is one of the most popular events in Atlantic City with its heart-stopping feats, aerobatics maneuvers, formation flying and solo routines by military and civilian pilots.
See flybys and demonstrations that reach up to 15,000 feet and as low as 50 feet over the water in front of the Atlantic City skyline. Along with performances and demonstrations by the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Navy, Air National Guard and civilian acts, this year's lineup will be headlined with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and the U.S. Army Golden Knights parachute team. Also scheduled are U.S. Marine Harrier Jet and U.S. Navy F/A-18F Super Hornet demonstrations.

Getting Here: Click here for Transportation options getting to and around Atlantic City
- Atlantic City is easily accessible via Route 30, Route 40/322, or Exit 1 off the Atlantic City Expressway for parking at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.
- The NJ Transit rail system can be accessed from nearby Hammonton, Egg Harbor City and Absecon, with trains arriving at the Atlantic City Convention Center. Due to expected high ridership, attendees are advised to allow extra travel time, purchase tickets in advance to avoid long lines, and travel light.

Travel Advisory: On Wednesday, August 25, 2010, NJ TRANSIT will operate additional service on the Atlantic City Rail Line to/from the Atlantic City Air Show. Please check back for updated train schedule.

- Early arrivers may want to try the South Jersey Transportation Authority lots on Fairmont and Atlantic Avenues; or the New York Avenue garage in Atlantic City.

- The Atlantic City Airshow is free to the public and can be viewed between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. from anywhere on the Atlantic City beach and Boardwalk.
- Those wishing to view the Airshow from the ocean are welcome, but should be aware that there will be a "no boat zone" restricting boaters except for the U.S. Coast Guard, police and other marine units, from approaching too close to the Atlantic City beach.
- For premium public seating on the beach featuring a lá carte food and beverage, join the Flightline Club! Ticket availability is on a first-come, first-served basis and will be posted here when available.
- A handicap viewing area will be available at the pavilion at Montpelier Avenue and the Boardwalk. There is a handicap accessible ramp on Montpelier Avenue. Space is limited and will be restricted for those in wheelchairs that cannot access the beach.

- Wear light clothing
- Snacks
- Bottled water
- Cameras and binoculars
- Sunglasses
- Beach attire including umbrellas, hats, and bathing suits
- Earplugs for young children
- Radios to tune into AM 1400 WOND for the Atlantic City Airshow broadcast or Lite Rock 96.9 WFPG for Gary Guida's broadcast from the Boardwalk.
