Funded by the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority, the Atlantic City Boardwalk is receiving a face-lift as storefronts along four blocks are renovated to the tune of $100 million. The renovations will include the addition of decorative touches like brick and stucco facades, cupolas and new rooftop signs. Two blocks were completed in Spring 2007; work on two more blocks were completed by the end of 2008. Additionally, restoration of the historic Fountain of Light in Brighton Park at Park Place was completed in spring 2007. The renovation continues as The Ritz condominium complex has a new, refreshed look.
